The 2025 ACOP introduces a substantial new section on work-related health that was absent or minimal in previous editions. PCBUs in forestry must proactively identify and manage occupational health risks such as noise-induced hearing loss, whole-body vibration, wood dust exposure, hazardous chemicals, heat stress, and psychological harm (including risks from unauthorised site entrants).
