The obligation
PCBUs must engage workers on H&S matters and establish or contribute to worker participation practices.
Subpart 2 of Part 3 requires PCBUs to engage with workers on H&S matters affecting them and to establish, maintain, and support worker participation practices (e.g. health and safety representatives and committees). Workers have specific rights including the right to cease or direct cessation of unsafe work. Failure to comply attracts pecuniary penalties.
