The obligation
Only a recognised person or recognised agency whose specified functions include evaluation may evaluate a custom food control plan.
The evaluator may ask the operator for any information about the food business that it reasonably needs to carry out the evaluation. The chief executive may exempt one or more places of food business from the onsite assessment requirement, in writing for a particular case or by notice under section 405 of the Act for a class of case. The evaluation report must give the evaluator's views on the matters in regulation 9(1) and the reasons for them, and details of any technical experts used.
