Transporters of animal material or product, other than live animals, must ensure it remains suitable for processing or fit for its intended purpose and meets any supplementary notice requirements. Depot operators must restrict activities to storing and apply for the depot to be listed, except depots storing only deer velvet. Certain depots must provide a calibrated device to monitor temperature at the warmest point and meet supplementary notice requirements on temperature monitoring.
