PCBUs managing or controlling tower crane plant must manage health and safety risks, prevent unauthorised alterations, and use plant only for its designed purpose under WHS Reg 203–213.
Under WHS Regulations 203–213, PCBUs with management or control of tower crane fixtures, fittings, or plant must: manage associated H&S risks; prevent unauthorised alterations or interference; use plant only for its designed purpose (unless risk is not increased); ensure guarding, operational controls, emergency stops, warning devices, and maintenance/inspection regimes are in place.
