The obligation
This Code is an approved code of practice under section 274 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA).
It gives practical guidance on achieving the standards required under the WHS Act, the Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022 and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022. Following the Code will assist duty holders to achieve compliance with their health and safety duties on its subject matter. Compliance may also be achieved by another method giving an equivalent or higher standard of work health and safety.
