WorkSafe Western Australia published the 'Managing Electrical Risks in the Workplace: Code of Practice' in April 2025. The Code provides practical guidance for PCBUs and applies to all WA workplaces. It was preceded by a public consultation draft via SafetyLine WA. The Code aligns with the model WHS framework but is specific to Western Australia under the WHS Act 2020 (WA). PCBUs should review the full Code and update their electrical risk management procedures accordingly.
