The Code is an approved code of practice under section 274 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) and applies to WA workplaces where abrasive blasting is carried out.
The Code is intended to be read by PCBUs and gives practical guidance on managing health and safety risks associated with abrasive blasting. It applies to all workplaces covered by the WHS Act where abrasive blasting processes are carried out and where abrasive blasting products and equipment are used and stored.
