The Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025 (S.R. No. 103/2025) commenced 1 December 2025, establishing formal psychosocial obligations for Victorian PCBUs.
S.R. No. 103/2025 made under the OHS Act 2004 (Vic) commenced 1 December 2025. The Regulations impose obligations on PCBUs to identify, assess, and control psychosocial hazards and risks, applying the hierarchy of controls. Victoria is the last Australian state to introduce formal regulations specific to psychosocial hazards. The Compliance Code: Psychological Health (Edition 1) accompanies these Regulations.
