The obligation
The Compliance Code: Psychological Health is WorkSafe Victoria guidance, in effect from 1 December 2025, for duties under the OHS Act and OHS (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025.
The Code was developed by WorkSafe Victoria, made under the OHS Act and approved by the Minister for WorkSafe and the TAC. It provides practical guidance on psychological health duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and psychosocial hazard duties under the Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025. Its guidance is not mandatory, but a duty holder who complies with it is taken to have complied with the duties or obligations it deals with.
