The code is relevant to manufacturers and suppliers of dangerous goods, occupiers of premises where dangerous goods are stored and handled, and employees and health and safety representatives at those workplaces. The code has not yet been updated to reflect the Storage and Handling Regulations, so complying with it after 26 November 2022 may not necessarily mean compliance with a duty under those Regulations.
