The obligation
The Code provides specific guidance on safe work sequencing, temporary supports, and fall protection during conventional (stick) and truss roof framing.
PCBUs must follow prescribed work sequences and install temporary fall protection when constructing conventional or truss roofs. The Code addresses the order in which framing work is to be done, use of temporary edge protection or fall-arrest systems during truss installation, and safe erection sequences to minimise simultaneous fall exposure. Workers must not be on unsupported frames unless specific controls are in place.
