Part 8 of the WHS Regulations 2012 (SA) sets out comprehensive asbestos duties: preparation of asbestos management plans, maintenance of asbestos registers for workplaces built before 2004, licensing of asbestos removalists (Class A and Class B), air monitoring during removal, and notification to SafeWork SA.
