The obligation
Section 29 requires any person at a workplace to take reasonable care for their own and others' health and safety and to follow reasonable instructions.
A person at a workplace must take reasonable care for their own health and safety, whether or not they have another duty under Part 2. They must take reasonable care that their acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other persons. They must comply, so far as they are reasonably able, with any reasonable instruction given by the person conducting the business or undertaking to allow it to comply with the Act.
