The Environment Protection (Water Quality) Policy 2015 (WQP) is made under the Environment Protection Act 1993 (SA). It sets out environmental quality objectives for water and applies to any person whose activities may cause or contribute to water pollution. The Policy covers both specified activities (point-source) and diffuse-source pollution, and calls up legally-enforceable codes of practice.
