The Air Quality EPP 2016 sets ambient air quality objectives and requires compliance assessment for proposed developments under the EP Act and Planning and Design Code.
The Air Quality EPP 2016 prescribes ambient air quality standards and investigation/assessment requirements that must be satisfied by proposed and redevelopments in SA. Development applicants must demonstrate that ambient objectives will not be exceeded. SA DIT Air Quality Assessment Guidelines provide the methodology. Applies to proponents and consent authorities.
