The Work Health and Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2024 (Qld) made amendments to the WHS framework including updates to the regulation of psychosocial hazards. The Code of Practice: Managing the risk of psychosocial hazards at work 2022 was updated in 2024. PCBUs must identify and manage psychosocial risks (e.g. bullying, harassment, work-related stress) using the hierarchy of controls. WorkSafe Queensland is the enforcement authority.
