Workers carrying out high risk work (e.g. scaffolding, crane operation, forklift) must hold a current high risk work licence under Chapter 4.
Chapter 4 of the WHS Regulation 2011 (Qld) requires workers to hold a high risk work (HRW) licence for prescribed activities including scaffolding, rigging, crane and hoist operation, pressure equipment operation, and forklift operation. PCBUs must not direct or allow unlicensed workers to perform HRW. Licence classes, application requirements, and conditions are specified in the Regulation and Schedule 3.
