Chapter 3 of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (Qld) requires persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) to manage workplace risks by identifying hazards, assessing the likelihood and consequences of harm, and implementing controls according to the hierarchy of controls. Duties apply to all Queensland workplaces. Failure to comply may attract significant penalties under the WHS Act 2011.
