Chapter 8 of the WHS Regulation 2011 (Qld) sets out obligations for managing asbestos in workplaces, including preparation of asbestos management plans, notification requirements, use of licensed removalists for Class A and Class B asbestos removal, air monitoring, and issuance of clearance certificates. The associated Code of Practice 2021 provides practical guidance. Applies to PCBUs where asbestos is or may be present.
