The obligation
A WHS entry permit holder may enter a workplace to inquire into a suspected contravention of the Act or the Electrical Safety Act 2002 affecting a relevant worker.
Notice of entry must be given during usual working hours at least 24 hours, but not more than 14 days, before entry. If the permit holder reasonably believes a relevant worker faces a serious risk from an immediate or imminent hazard, notice may be given as soon as reasonably practicable after entering.
