Traffic management plans are live documents that must be reviewed regularly and updated as the construction site changes.
When developing a traffic management plan, refer to this code, the Queensland MUTCD, AS1742, and the Queensland guides to road safety, temporary traffic management and traffic management. For construction projects valued at $250,000 or more, a traffic management plan should form part of, or be attached to, the WHS management plan. Plans should set out instructions for installing, operating, rearranging and removing devices, planned well before the job or stage starts.
