The obligation
PCBUs must keep spray painting and powder coating controls effective, and must review and revise them when they stop working or circumstances change.
Control measures must stay fit for purpose, suit the nature and duration of the work, and be correctly installed, set up and used. A review is needed when a control does not control the risk, before a workplace change likely to create a new or different risk, when a new hazard or risk is identified, when consultation shows a review is needed, or when a health and safety representative reasonably requests one. A control measure that is not working effectively must be revised.
