WorkSafe QLD has published the Occupational Diving Work Code of Practice 2025, superseding the 2005 edition. PCBUs and diving workers must now refer to the 2025 code for compliance obligations.
The Occupational Diving Work Code of Practice 2025 was published by WorkSafe Queensland and replaces the 2005 edition. The new code is an approved code of practice under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld). PCBUs conducting occupational diving work must now rely on the 2025 code to identify required control measures. The 2005 code this Subject refers to is no longer the operative instrument.
