The obligation
Workers who must change clothing for work should have access to private changing areas with secure storage for personal belongings.
This includes workers who wear PPE or uniforms, or who leave work clothing at the workplace. Change rooms should allow at least 0.5 m2 of clear space per worker changing at a time, be kept at a comfortable temperature, and have seating, mirrors and enough hooks or shelves. Personal storage should be separate from storage for contaminated PPE, and tools supplied by workers should have secure, weatherproof storage outside working hours.
