The obligation
Licensed removalists must tell specified people about licensed asbestos removal work before it starts and share the removal control plan.
Before licensed removal work, the removalist must inform the person with management or control of the workplace about the work and its start date. At residential premises, the removalist must, so far as reasonably practicable, tell the commissioning person, other PCBUs, the occupier, the owner and neighbouring occupiers. The removalist must give the commissioning person a copy of the asbestos removal control plan and keep a copy readily accessible on site for the duration of the work.
