The obligation
Safe access and fall protection must be provided for persons slinging formwork loads, and lifting gear and crane-lifted loads must be managed so loads cannot fall.
Safe access must be provided for persons slinging and un-slinging loads, and a dogger or other person working two metres or more above the deck must have adequate fall protection unless doing 'permitted work'. Loads must not be placed on the formwork deck if the formwork documentation prohibits loadings. Fall arrest is usually impractical for slinging; platforms fitted to lift forms must be at least 450mm wide.
