The obligation
A PCBU must provide the information, training, instruction or supervision needed to protect all persons from risks arising from the work.
Under WHS Act s19, a PCBU must ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, the provision of any information, training, instruction or supervision needed to protect all persons from work risks. Under WHS Regulation s39, it must be suitable and adequate for the nature of the work, its risks and the control measures, and be readily understandable.
