The NT asbestos removal Code of Practice was varied in September 2023 to reflect the adoption of the 7th revised edition of the GHS.
The Code was approved under section 274(1) of the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011 on 29 January 2020 and published in the Northern Territory Government Gazette on 04 March 2020. Subsequent amendments under section 274 have been published and commenced as detailed in the Code's list of amendments. NT WorkSafe states the Code was varied on 14 September 2023. The September 2023 amendments reflect the adoption of the 7th revised edition of the GHS.
