The obligation
Licensed demolition work must be done by or for a demolition licence holder, with a named supervisor present and workers trained in an approved course.
Licensed demolition work must be done by, or for, a demolition licence holder (section 142A). The licence holder must ensure a named supervisor is present at the work site and supervises the work, unless the licence holder carries out the work (section 142B). The licence holder must not allow workers, including on directly connected work, to do licensed demolition work unless they completed an approved safe demolition course from an authorised RTO (section 142C).
