Following public consultation (draft published, submissions closed Sunday 21 December 2025), SafeWork NSW has published the 2026 'Safe use and storage of agricultural and veterinary chemicals Code of Practice'. The code is developed under the WHS Act 2011 and applies to PCBUs and workers. It covers safe use, handling and storage of pesticides and vet chemicals, SDS requirements, health monitoring, hazardous chemical registers, and psychosocial hazard management.
