A pollution incident response management (PIRM) plan required under the Act, Part 5.7A must be written and must record when it was tested and by whom.
A PIRM plan must be in written form and may form part of another document if the required information is readily identifiable in it. Required matters include a community engagement protocol for notifying people living or working near a pollution incident, details of pre-emptive action to minimise or prevent risk of harm, and the nature and objectives of a staff training program for the plan.
