All workers must be able to access a first aid kit, which requires at least one kit to be provided at their workplace.
First aid equipment, facilities and first aiders must be accessible to workers whenever they work, including night shifts or overtime. Appendix C of the Code summarises the requirements for first aiders, first aid kits and first aid rooms. The Code's assessment asks what kits or modules are needed, where they should be located, whether other first aid equipment is needed and who is responsible for maintaining the kits.
