The obligation
Workers must keep their white card available for an inspector and give it to the PCBU that engages them before doing construction work.
A white card issued by a regulator in another jurisdiction is recognised if it is used under the terms and conditions on which it was granted. A suspended or cancelled white card is not valid. The PCBU needs the card to be sure the worker has completed general construction induction training before directing or allowing them to carry out construction work.
