The Code of Practice 'Transport and delivery of cash and valuable goods' was approved under s 274 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) and gazetted on 22 May 2026. It replaces the previous Cash in Transit code. The new COP references the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2025 (NSW) throughout. PCBUs and workers conducting cash-in-transit operations in NSW must have regard to this code when managing WHS risks. …
