The obligation
SafeWork NSW reviewed the code of practice for the cash-in-transit industry and consulted on a draft replacement code.
Feedback on the review showed that a new code of practice was needed, and SafeWork NSW drafted the Transport and delivery of cash and valuable goods code of practice. The review was part of SafeWork NSW's review of 20 codes of practice written before the 2011 Work Health and Safety Act and 2017 Regulation, an outcome of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 Statutory Review Report – June 2017.
