The obligation
PCBUs must identify reasonably foreseeable psychosocial hazards, eliminate risks so far as reasonably practicable, or minimise using the hierarchy of controls, and review controls.
Under the WHS Act 2011 and WHS Regulation (as reflected in the 2024 COP), PCBUs must: (1) identify reasonably foreseeable psychosocial hazards; (2) eliminate psychosocial risks so far as reasonably practicable; (3) if elimination is not practicable, minimise risks using the hierarchy of controls; and (4) maintain and regularly review control measures.
