The Commonwealth COP (F2024L01380, in force 1 Nov 2024) provides practical guidance to PCBUs on managing psychosocial hazards under the WHS Act 2011 and WHS Regulation.
The Work Health and Safety (Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work) Code of Practice 2024 (F2024L01380), administered by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, came into force 1 November 2024. It applies to all PCBUs covered by the Commonwealth WHS Act 2011. Compared to predecessor guidance, the Code introduced Fatigue, Intrusive Surveillance, and Job Insecurity as recognised psychosocial hazards.
