The obligation
For specific risks, the WHS Regulations require control measures to be reviewed in set circumstances and, if necessary, changed.
A review is required when a control measure is not effective in controlling the risk, or before a change at the workplace likely to give rise to a new or different risk the control may not effectively control. A review is also required if a new hazard or risk is identified, if consultation results indicate a review is necessary, or if a health and safety representative requests one.
