From 1 August 2026, changes to mass, dimension and loading provisions are in force under the HVNL 2025 amendments. The Amendment Act also inserted new s.730A providing for national regulations about exemption and authorisation (permits) relating to mass or dimension authorities (Sch 2 also amended).
