The obligation
The Work Health and Safety (Formwork Code of Practice) Approval 2024 (NI 2024-56) approves the ACT Formwork Code of Practice under section 274 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
The approval instrument commences 90 days after the date of notification. The Code states that it commenced in the ACT on the date it was published on the ACT Legislation Register. The instrument revokes the Work Health and Safety (Formwork) Code of Practice 2011 (NI 2011-770). The Code draws on Safe Work Australia model material and formwork codes from SafeWork NSW and WorkSafe QLD, and was approved following the legislated consultation. …
